Welcome!

Would you like to get to know other fun knitters in our state? You’ve come to the right place! Here are the requirements:

  • You must be a resident (currently or formerly) of Ohio.
  • You must write a blog that is devoted primarily to discussions about your knitting or other crafty adventures.
  • The ring code must be visible on your front page before you'll be accepted into the ring.
  • That’s it!

Click Here for the List of Members

    Some notes:

Your site will remain in the queue (a sort of holding area) until the code is working properly (correct links, no broken images, etc.). If your code breaks, you're site will be moved to the queue.

You will receive a message from RingSurf with your Ring Code and Ring ID. Please keep this message or your records!

Feel free to play with the code but please keep the links to Home, Previous, and Next. You can also add links to Join, Random and the List of members. Buttons are not required, text links are fine.

The rules/guidelines may change as the ring grows or I discover things I consider to be problems.

I’m new to this whole ring management thing so any comments or suggestions or to contribute a button, please drop me an e-mail!

I threw together some buttons that are posted below – feel free to use those or make your own. If you do use them please copy them to your own server.

    Thanks!

    Tough Love

Ok so It's been awhile since I've done anything with this site.... so I just ran a check on all of the Knit Ohio members and for some reason there were a few sites that no longer had the Knit Ohio links up. The purpose of a web ring is to be able to surf between sites freely and if your site doesn’t have the links up then that sortof defeats the purpose. So I’ve taken all of the sites that don’t have the links and moved them to the que. I emailed the html code to everyone who this applies to – all you have to do is copy the html from the email and paste it into your sidebar or wherever. Just so long as it stays up on your main page. If you have any issues doing this please feel free to email me and I’ll be happy to help you out! I’ll give everyone a month to fix their links. If in a month there are any sites that still don’t have the code I’m going to have to delete them from this web ring.

Again, I’m sorry to have to dish out the tough love but in order to have a successful web ring we have to have working links!

I’ll update the list of members soon – we’ve had lots of new sites join! But I want to get the code thing squared away first….

    Hello!
I am to blame for this one, I changed my blog over and lost my ring code. Can someone send me the code? Sorry, to bother you.
